Customers often limit themselves to a single color of paint for a room, when one can choose differently colors for  each surface and/or plane.  Walls and trim can be different colors.  Separate walls can be separate colors.  A single wall can be broken up into more than one color using stripes or some other shape.

We have often found brick fireplaces that have been painted, causing them to lose their prominence in the room.  This fireplace was painted white, causing it to nearly disappear into the background of  a light  colored wall.  Using several different shades  of paint, we gave the bricks in the fireplace a differently look, making the fireplace the focal point of the room once again.
